The discourse around tariffs has been “things will get more expensive” but I am here to tell you that I am knee deep in reporting on this subject and I strongly suspect that if super high tariffs endure, it will shift to *certain items cease to be available at any price*

I love writing body language. I love writing characters acting in opposition to what they’re saying. I love writing characters saying the opposite of what they mean. It’s a crutch but it’s so human and I eat it up every time 😩

BTW I’m VERY upset about the “TikTok ban” not because of the app (though it’s sad because I never would have met yall otherwise) but for what it means for me and other Americans when it comes to future censorship. We’re on track for a head on collision for some very, very bad times ahead.
