I’ve had the same thought, but I still love what my kids used to call “Wa-wee”. These days we talk about it as a caution lesson about letting AI, tech, and billionaires run your life: you’ll be trapped in space with no connection to your body or trees.

I had a teacher (a woman!) recommend this movie to me in the 8th grade. I found a Betamax tape on a shelf in my parents’ room and knew enough to watch it when they weren’t around. Holy shit.
