Crazy how between my wife and I we're catching references left and right between literature, internet culture and online manga but we're more captivated by just what is being put in front of us and reacting to the immediate.

Side tangent that didn't make it into the thread regarding Blue Reflection.
Do I feel like the constraints worked for storytelling? Yes. For me at least. There is a different sort of mean girl energy in cliques in an all girls school versus a co-ed, and even beyond that you can reverse the question

The series that most people who have heard me talk about call the series that was accidentally good. Lemme explain. The director is and has always been a guided torpedo whose original vision and intent is why the series ended up dying.

Oh my god my Legend of Mana was 29 posts when seeing it numbered.
If I kept my entire thing talking about the major arcs you can engage in that would have easily been >60 since that was a cut 2.5k words or so.

Okay Blue Reflection when I feel like it.

This was a more hesitant recommendation given to me. The only reason it was even put out in front of me was primarily because my wife loved this game, but she figured I would see the same charm that she did when she was younger.
