It's not fair to call it 'zealousness' then, though. There are legitimate reasons to basically go no AI and vote with the wallet, as well as move away from supporting companies that use it. Making exceptions just because its a game or a company one likes and dismissing criticism isnt helpful either

The VA gets paid for that nth 'tower, here' though. Remember it's also supporting the underlying AI service they are using - even if that service is being used ethically by this company, the service is still a problem by itself in every other instance. I'll keep my money for human made games i think

Its not an easy choice tbh, especially in this day and age. Sometimes its easier to get work you are comfortable with and build a life around that. Not everything needs to be spectacular - sometimes the mundane and mediocre can support the truly special.
