They cut Medicaid in the Big Ugly Bill.

They cut Medicare by $536 billion.
Now seniors will have to pay more for prescription coverage.

#RepublicanMedicareCuts will hurt so many seniors who voted for Trump, thinking that he would keep his promise and lower costs & not touch Medicare.

Cool, cool.

We’re basically out of ATACMS and PrSM, and we used half our *global* TLAM supply… all for the Strait of Hormuz to still be closed?

NH Republicans have been pulling this kabuki theater veto routine for years. The simple truth is that when you elect the Sununus and the Ayottes, the Freestate/MAGA culture warriors come along for the ride—and Ayotte will need to find ways to appease then. newhampshirebulletin.com/2026/05/21/b...
Bills on teacher disclosure, school book removals heading to Ayotte’s desk  • New Hampshire Bulletin
Two fiercely debated Republican bills empowering parents in public schools are heading to Gov. Kelly Ayotte’s desk after approvals by the Senate Tuesday.

This means that hundreds, if not thousands of labs all over the country will close. Tens of thousands of jobs will be lost. This is in defiance of Congress's will and in defiance of good stewardship of the US economy. This is entirely because Russ Vought hates science
Less than 800 NSF grants awarded over the first half of the fiscal year for the entire country. Previous years were already over 2-3k awards by now. It is not particularly overdramatic to say we are seeing the death of federally funded science research in the United States.
Welcome to the last half of the US federal fiscal year.

Here is where we're at with National Science Foundation--the agency that funds basically everything other than biomedical research at American universities--grant numbers.

I’m listening to seasoned reporters talk about how frightened they were during the shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner last night and imagining how much worse it is for America’s children. If there’s ever been a time to pass sensible gun control laws, it’s now.

If you were horrified watching elected leaders run & scramble because of gun violence, just imagine how my daughter Jaime felt in school running from an active shooter before she was killed.

Now, become a part of the solution & only vote for people determined to address gun violence in America.

A 29-year-old warehouse worker burned down a Kimberly-Clark warehouse and destroyed $500M in inventory while stating, “All you had to do was pay us enough to live.”

So I quickly researched his claim. And the numbers don’t look good for Kimberly-Clark.
