The personal hypocrisy isn't bothersome to me, it's that others seem to not it or not care about it. Ultimately, I have some understanding of many of these "why?" questions. I just don't like the answers or what they mean about effecting change

It's a hard reflex to overcome because our culture conflates faith with morality at every turn. I've personally been asked how I manage to have morals without faith. So then you have elected officials who trump their piety while bombing children. How does that square?

Why are urinals designed to be an everybody activity? Because the designers were freaks! You can't tell me there's any other reason for y'all to be 🍆 to 🍆 ! "We know not to look." Why do you have to have special rules just to pee?! Bc the setup is for folks trying to see something

The rise of the "working homeless" isn't just about the chasm between wages and rents.

It's also about the degraded nature of work itself: volatile schedules, eroded job security, and a lack of basic benefits like health insurance or sick leave—all of which put stable housing further out of reach.

If you object to public-funded housing of homeless people, in the end the objection cannot be the cost, because we pay a premium to be cruel to homeless people. At the bottom of the objection will always sit dehumanizing cruelty and a desire for eradication.
