On the ball speed I’m swing on a PGR monitor is up 2mph so let’s call that 3 MPH ball speed, need to get on a trackman and get these numbers more accurate.

Also with the way WAGR is now waited very heavily on the US collegiate system those plying their trade here will really have to shine in the big event. With the amateur & Europe amateur becoming weeks lads will need to really make noise.

Something I’m definitely interested in seen unfolding in the coming months

With a quick turnaround between walker cups and @LahinchGolfClub set to host in 2026, a lot of interest in how the Irish players perform in the coming year & a bit. Will definitely want a strong Irish presence on home soil.

Between the 4 home nations a total of 8 players are currently inside the top 100

The Americans hold 11 of the top 12 spots on WAGR

The gap is pretty wide, players on both sides will turn pro before the matches, others will get hot next summer and book a flight.

With only 6 players inside the top 500 & 12 inside the top 1,00 while a hole summer of golf is yet to take place before any team is named, a lot of work is needed if we’re to see some Irish representation on the team.

England have 17 inside the top 500 with 34 inside the top 1,000

This also ties in with training, done good work last winter and let it slip over summer ( even spring)
