For 200+ years the most privileged have shaped US federal law for their own benefit. I have faith that they will not win final victory.

It’s time to start thinking past wages and start having serious, intelligent conversations on how to implement UBI. The system as-is looks destined to crash by 2029, just in time for its 100 year anniversary.

I promise.

I love all genders🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
Because I have no gender.
Especially right now, transgender people are living with a lot of anxiety.

Why are transgender people not allowed to freely love the people they want to love?
Why can't transgender individuals live their lives with the soul they prefer?

We’re going to hear about how everyone loved Dolly, and that feels true. But it’s good to remember, and to her credit, that she was attacked for her AIDS activism, her vaccine advocacy, her LGBTQ+ support and even, more recently, for her reading initiatives. She ALWAYS stood firm when it mattered.

If you want people to say good things about you after you've gone, just do what Dolly Parton did. Get good at things, use your money to help people, be nice, don't drag others down, spread joy

On January 3 following the missed November election, the Constitutionally limited terms of every single one of the 435 members of the House will expire. The Senate will lose a third of its seats.

Elections for state, county, and etc. will continue regardless of anything short of military occupation
The cable news programs are FINALLY talking about #47's call for an emergency- Bringing martial law/the National Guard/ to intervene and to cancel the midterms and 2028 as a result.

I've been dealing with depression for most of my life, from before I was ever diagnosed. Ask anyone who knows me and they'd never believe I've got depression (and multiple other diagnoses).

We're very good at looking okay when we're not. Be kind.

Twenty years ago today, the Voting Rights Act was reauthorized with bipartisan support—a recognition that every American deserves an equal voice.

This year, the Supreme Court gutted those protections. We must keep fighting to ensure every American voice is heard.
