Joe Manchin endorsing Susan Collins and Mike Rogers really is a testament to how shitty moderates* are, and how they’re basically conservatives who can’t admit it.
Their market fundamentalism and Islamophobia is…something else.

Looking at the Omaha Platform and of course some of the language or subjects are antiquated (eg: free silver), but the platform touches on a lot of things which were relevant then and are, somehow, still relevant today.
