About every half hour today, one of my brain cells says “Hey, should we think about that Blue Jays game at all?” and then all the other ones go “NOPE” and beat the first one to death.

This was a magical season that came up short. Not optimistic it can be duplicated next year. Losing Bichette and Bieber, having albatross contracts like Santander and Gimenez, and not much in the prospect pipeline gives me very little hope they’d be back here again soon. #BlueJays

What sucks if the Jays lose this series is that this might just be a team that caught lightning in a bottle. Free agency could leave this team with big holes at short and in the rotation, and this team doesn’t do a great job attracting free agents. #BlueJays

Schneider should be fired for this inning. Two guys who haven’t had an easy time finding the strike zone against the heart of the order. What a waste of an outing from Gausman. #BlueJays
