Definitely feels cliched in music biopics now. Start the film backstage with a nervous/drugged up artist before big/important gig ... then straight back to childhood and cue the origin story. Such a boring and overused concept.

Always loved "Back to Reality" and "Backwards". Both play with some interesting concepts and have a lot of fun with them.
