That’s an outlier. Latest poll and poll of polls puts Labour on 21% 10% behind Reform. All of which would still be deeply worrying if there was an election tomorrow. The last time I checked however there won’t be a GE for 4 years. When it occurs it will be between Labour and Reform. Choose wisely.

A divided left is the way to guarantee a Farage Reich and all the horrors that will involve for ordinary people and minorities . When faced with the stark option of a fascist or a wooly bourgeois social democrat, the correct choice is always the latter.

It certainly would make an interesting comparative study. I would however see Louis Napoleon as a ‘proto’ fascist. Capitalism in crisis does tend to throw up authoritarianism. Agree with you about Trump and Putin.

I’ve never before viewed ‘Big Brother’ as a rather insipid human rights lawyer. The ideological zeal and cultish following of his predecessor seems more the ticket.
