Do you not find it lazy that the UECL has the same anthem as the UEL? Like UEFA couldn't allocate some of the bribe money they're raking in by the millions to hire a composer to make a new anthem and an orchestra to perform it?

This entire defense has to go, goalkeepers included. There is not a single defensive player on the Dynamo roster who you could build a defensive strategy around.

I think it's time we all came to terms with the fact that the UPL has turned from the poor man's La Liga with two dominant teams to the poor man's Bundesliga where you have one club that's expected to win and probably will win and anything else is seen as a sensation.

Who the fuck plays the national cup final on a Wednesday with kickoff at 18:00, by the way? That match should be on a Saturday or Sunday evening. You're making it impossible for all working people to see the whole game.

Looking at the table, Dynamo could still easily drop to 5th place by dropping points to the likes of LNZ and Kolos. Only saving grace remaining this season is the Cup final vs Chernihiv and imagine if Dynamo somehow end up losing that as well.

IMO we should ditch the "named after" wording entirely when translating names from Ukrainian into English. So instead of "Dynamo Stadium named after Lobanovskyi" I'd just go for "Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium." Looks cleaner that way.

Looks like LNZ this season is set to repeat the story of Dnipro-1 from back in 22/23. Remember when we used to think Dnipro-1 were in an actual title race with Shakhtar, which ultimately turned out to not be true? Same thing here.

Always fun to watch Shakhtar actually get punished for their mistakes while not having the referees as a backup plan. Well deserved win for Crystal Palace.

Sometimes I hate algorithms. You see an article or post or video about somebody hating something that most people like so you go "Huh, why do they hate it?" and click on it and the website immediately goes "Oh you're in this cult now? Here's a ton more stuff from them!"

It feels like Dynamo players are so not used to winning head-to-head situations that they start to panic whenever they do and can't figure out what to do with the ball. Only exception is Ponomarenko, who seemingly knows how to do two things only - run and shoot.

I don't know if it's a lack of confidence or the manager's instructions but Dynamo just aren't making any dribbling attempts, which makes it very easy to shut down the entire team because they also lack cohesion, chemistry, and off-the-ball movement to compensate for it.
