I think it's a solid fantasy action story with cool animation, but I think it's status today is a forgotten curiosity

Clannad is also my first-ever anime purchase on iTunes & loaded into my iPod touch.

"Day" 76 🤣 Anime with best overall soundtrack!

I checked out the Outlanders OVA & it was generally what I expected: a *very* truncated & fanservicey version of the manga.
This is a quintessential "buy the manga" style of OVA that was everywhere in the 80s & 90s.
I found it interesting but I think I'll pass on purchasing the bluray

Having just finished MSG 0083: Stardust Memories, I think Kou Uraki is overhated.
Naturally, he makes some REALLY dumb decisions that are frustrating to watch but he grows with each encounter & ends up a better soldier & man for it

I generally watch anime in its original language because I want to appreciate the line delivery as the original director intended.
I also enjoy the rhythm and intonation of the Japanese language performers.
