1. Dealing With the Mikadono Sisters is a Breeze

Slice of life wholesome harem fluff that’s a reverse Bokuben and the Quintessential Quintuplets with more smug. As someone who sometimes binges SOLs regardless of quality, it gave me my fix.

yeah I think the most damning thing about this wolverine game is that 20 years ago it could've been made on a modest budget, guaranteed to make its money back on name alone, and might even punch above its weight if the developer was good

just look at xmen legends
Perfect couple of posts summarising the Wolverine / AAA space.

My instincts about the attempted cancellation appear spot on, but what is “well over budget” given the estimated $400 million Sony spent on Concord to die in two weeks?

Also given that this is a MGS-send up, with a larger inherent install base by default than a GaaS in a crowded genre space.
Bloomberg: PlayStation ditched Kojima's 'PHYSINT' on budget concerns, missed deadlines

▪️Death Stranding didn't meet sales expectations
▪️PHYSINT reportedly on track to be "well over budget"
▪️Sony reluctant to invest in another game that's not fully exclusive

It's been the case for a long time the Japanese side has stopped calling most shots on PlayStation's management, but you can extra tell the western side is in charge because no sensible businessman here would spurn one of their most enduring partnerships, let alone give Xbox a PR win *now*. Morons.

there's literally no way to give sony rope on this one. Naughty Dog is gonna spend 8 years and 500m dollars to make a game that will never make enough to justify that. It is literally impossible for there to be any production problem worse than that.

I can understand the short sighted executive sludge-brain decision for mandatory digital only games with no ownership, but Sony pulling an actual Konami is a fumble that comes full circle into being fascinating.

I can’t stop thinking about what they could possibly see as valuable with this call.
September 10, 2026 at 3:54 AM
Did Death Stranding 2 not do well enough for Sony to let a posited MGS successor be a sunk cost not worth finishing out in their eyes? Are they just purely broke overall and can’t afford it?

What could possibly be the logic here?

The same delusion that made Riot execs think they could just drop a fighting game whenever they want and the FGC would be so grateful to them for doing so that it would be the biggest game in the scene is now making them believe their MMO will take on WoW and FFXIV instead of imploding on impact.
these kinds of insane projections about a game that does not even have a name is how we got into the mess that was 2XKO's lifecycle to begin with lmao this company might be beyond saving

I’m sure Sony thinks they are slick because they already comfortably sold a decent number of PS5s before saying all this stupid shit unlike Matrick with the Xbone.

Really hoping people remember all this nonsense and carry the current negative energy when they eventually unveil the PS6.
Sony says "reasonable consumers" know they don’t own the digital PlayStation games they buy.

It argues that it's "not plausible" to suggest that when they buy a digital game they actually believe they're "obtaining ownership" of it.

Finding out the majority of the game was made in 3 months is just shocking. It shows just how talented the people at Id are but at the same time that's the worst I've ever heard. Whoever is producing or managing them is incompetent on a new order of scale.

Dev's frustration is justified, as Steam is being obtuse here about their well documented terrible content guideline review process, but he really didn't need to shit on game devs who do make pornographic games.

Why makes your goofy non-porn game less "humiliating" than a porn game?

GTA VI looks good, like the last one.

Will buy it in like six years when it's repriced to $15 every sale to onboard and promptly wring the pockets of 12 year olds with their tiered online microtransaction cards, also like the last one.
