34- WILD. I truly can’t believe how fast this has gone by. I finished my second audio book last week and started a new one, it was hot but bearable, and I’m really in a groove on this. #40fourmilesbefore40

Number 27- also behind posting but on time walking. Went somewhere I hadn’t been since there was snow on the ground— it was very hilly, very humid, and part of the trail was closed. Still nice going somewhere different. #40fourmilesbefore40

Number 22– belated! A slow, humid, plodding walk. My fitness app was bought out and I’m not sure this is as accurate as it used to be but between avoiding muddy/slick spots on the trail and breathing soup air, this was def a slower one. Also ft. a snapping turtle in the trail! #40fourmilesbefore40

Number 21– back to where I started. Foolish of me to expect the trail to be opened all the way 5 months after I found it closed, but I made it work with some meandering. A nice trail! #40fourmilesbefore40

Number 20! Belated— this was not as great walk, since my trail turned out to be like 50% just sidewalk in a busy neighborhood and the sun was sooo aggressive. But I’m halfway through! #40fourmilesbefore40

Number 18- a long gap to rest after getting two wisdom teeth removed (don’t recommend this at age 39). Getting back at my ol’ Indian Creek Trail, accidentally going almost a half mile too far. #40fourmilesbefore40
