So sad to hear of James VDB's passing. I watched the first few seasons of Dawson's Creek religiously but I think my favorite role was when he played an obnoxious fictional version of himself in Don't Trust the B. He seemed like a very good sport.

Over the last couple years they've been cutting down trees on our school grounds. One of the reasons is to maintain a clear line of sight to assess dangers. There is no shade in the play areas.
We are removing trees for our children's "safety". Trees. Because our government refuses to remove guns.
