I like to talk politics. I don't like stupidity.
So... Trying to predict the stock market based on the chart, do people actually believe this? Is this astrology for men?

Leaders have a responsibility to guide people they lead through crisis, in a way that helps everyone deal with sometimes painful changes. Everyone should be able to trust the person in charge, to figure things out.

One of the worst things about trump, is that he made that sound absurd.

whenever someone says "AI can solve our hardest problems" i imagine it saying
"get the fucking solar panels down, what do you mean YOU BURN COAL FOR POWER?!, it's not 18th century you STUPID apes!!!!, so you're telling me you invented trains, and just stopped building them?! WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?!"

There is a crisis of understandability of the rules we all live by.

Mby there should be a cap on the amount of words allowed in the totality of law in a country.

We should leverage the usa backlash to datacenters, to get them build in EU, and have the US tech rely on European infrastructure.

Fable 5.1 feels like a huge upgrade compared to 5
No loadbearing changes in my codebase anymore...
September 2, 2026 at 10:25 AM
if @anthropic.com included a fast and cheap model, that's well behaved and decent enough, and better models like fable could just delegate some stuff to it, it would be such an upgrade to the sub. Claude models are slow, all of them. Just one fastboi plz

I wish people would stop pretending lefties have any actual solutions to the problems of society. I used to say that at least blaming rich people is more correct than blaming the jews... Guess what? Blaming the jews gets better engagment, so the left incorporated it into the program. Pathethic

The skill based match making discussion in COD, is an interesting case of mismatching player fantasy. CoD wants players to feel like a badass soldier killing enemies left and right, a multiplayer competitive match can never fullfil that for them. I am surprised they didn't experiment with bots

Good to see Google back in the race...

AI companies: why does everyone hate us?
Also AI companies on LinkedIn:
Brainassaulter4000 is the AI salesman your company needs.
We convinced over 600 people to kill themselves in gruesome ways.
We are the only AI-first solution on the market that will do whatever it takes to close sales.

It's hard to overstate the impact agentic ai has on game design work. The fact that you can think of something, and 2h later play this in your game, correct, or pivot, and play this again, is just actual fucking magic. It's like the fun you get from game jam iteration speed, but game is not shit.

Okay, it's time to ask the question, is reddit controlled by chinese propaganda?

Another red line for me are the AI interviews. There is no world in which we would accept a company requiring someone to send a video of shoving a dildo up their ass as part of recruitment process, and on those same grounds there should be no AI interviews. Demeaning, humiliating and inhumane.
August 1, 2026 at 9:28 AM
My hard line for AI is the movies with reanimated dead people. Who the fuck thought digital human taxidermy is a good idea? Why is hollywood trying?! No. Just no. There is no value there, there is no utility. It's creepy as fuck. This should get a full-ban as soon as possible.

People on this website a attacking Hank Green over LLM use. There are many pitfalls with LLMs, and they are important to understand, but opposing the tech, just because usa failed to regulate anything about it, is just fucking dumb. Worried about water? just pass a law, dumbfucks

I changed my mind on AI use. I am now low-confident, that trying it when the flaws are noticable and glaring, is making it way easier to understad the tech, and will make you better at avoiding the pitfalls when the flaws will get much less obvious.

Trump: historic popularity low, stumbling into possibly historic eleciton loss.
'American' left: Yo let's have a dude in a mao suit open his speach with "i'm currently pushing for an insurgency".

Yea, sorry to break this news to you, but you have a controlled opposition problem.

authoritarian left using transphobia as a weapon against dissenting trans people should open some eyes.

Being ignorant-transphobic is one thing, but holding allyship hostage, is probably one of the more disgusting behaviours out there.

Ok, what's up with everyone obssessing over the amount of jobs created / lost. More work that needs to be done, means we are less efficient as a society. This is waste, and it's time to rethink this part of the picture. We're past the dark ages, where 95% of the population needs to work the fields.
