Prince Yi led a significantly smaller force against General Zhi in his attempt to capture Qiang Pass. But to the surprise of many, the cunning General and the valiant Prince became evenly matched in a grand stalemate.

Using the holidays to get into more single player games again and got sucked into Cyberpunk.
Lore posts will still come but I like to take a little break from daily FH and I am sorry 😅

Once their forces came into direct conflict at Qiang Pass,
General Zhi sought to capture the city and claim Gao
Lei's imperial seal. Yi, however, sought to wrest the
stronghold from Zhi and claim it for the people.

The fortress of Qiang Pass once served as emperor Gao
Lei's command center until an attack by the Blackstone
Legion forced his retreat. It has remained a beautiful yet
dormant monument to the Wu Lin empire ever since.

Rumors tell of a priceless imperial seal hidden somewhere in Qiang Pass by emperor Gao Lei. Should it be recovered, the seal would bolster one's claim to lead the Wu Lin.

Yoshiro's confrontation with the Jorogumo was fraught with innner conflict. How could he draw a blade against his own mother? Was the Mamono Dagger making the choice for him? It felt like it was starving in his hand…

The intense emotions Lady Saori felt after failing to defend Castle Chiyo led to her Jorogumo transformation. She attacked those she originally swore to protect, and her presence drew even more Yokai to the fearful village.

Was there any trace of Lady Saori left within the Jorogumo while she laid waste to Castle Chiyo and attacked her son? Yoshiro believed so, choosing to disarm and defeat her, rather than kill her outright.

To destroy the Jorogumo was a hopeless endeavor - but the Yokai's spirit could be banished. Rumors say Yoshiro trapped it in a distant cave as a desperate last resort.

A family heirloom handed down for generations, Yoshiro inherited the Mamono Dagger from his mother. Only by chance would he discover its mystical properties while desperately defending himself against a possessed villager.

In modern day, the Jorogumo's legend rarely spreads beyond hushed Samurai halls. But Guljin brought peace and open ears. She was quite intrigued by the tales of ancient warriors who did what must be done, no matter the cost.
