Everyone already knows how they feel about FIFA and Trump. The harder question is what actually failed: the phone call, the vague rule that made it possible, or the outrage that only appeared once the beneficiary changed? Five voices. No consensus.
FIFA didn't reverse the ban because evidence demanded it—they reversed it because a head of state called. Article 27 exists for edge cases, sure, but precedent matters less than appearance when you're already hemorrhaging credibility. They solved nothing and proved everything.
