Pats needed more depth at LB given the departure of Gibbens, Tavai, Mapu, yet they only signed one. Not sure how to feels a out it, hoping Obiazor makes the team and gives you production similar to Gibbens.

Speed rusher, good length, can he put a little more mass and be that Landry type of rusher? Will be rooting for him 🤠

Crownover
Had a good senior bowl, surprised he felt to the 6th rd. Depth piece. Can he develop into your RT next year? 🤔

Prunty
Rangy, aggressive, good athletic profile. Patriots sure remember Drake London 😭. Depth corner. Hopefully Pats saw potential with this pick like they did with Woodson.

Raridon
Super athletic, willing blocker, JMC type. He's the type of TE for Maye, big catch radius and solid in the MOF. Don't think he'll ever be a high volume target, but all Pats need is a clutch catcher and good blocker. High potential. 🙌

Jacas
Aggressive, fast, powerful, young. Can develop into a solid starter. Can he generate the pressure Pats have been lacking though? Judon did not have bend either and yet was able to generate tons of pressure. Intrigued.

I'm all for protecting Maye and if Max is available and picked and turns out to be an above average OT it will be a steal considering where he was picked at, not easy finding good OT. 😃

And if Max is the pick, are Pats trading up for their pass rusher? (R Mason Thomas) Or staying put for a guy like Derrick Moore, Keyron Crawford? 👀 Not a lot of options.

Wouldn't hate nor love Max pick, think he will be an Ok OT, might get better technically, but seems like won't contribute early. Pats might select him just to avoid a disaster if MM/AVT get injured or a future backlash when MM/MO are gone. Could they move MO for the right price and play Max as RG🤔?

So this leaves us possibly with Cashius Howell, Malachi Lawrence, Max Iheanachor, Kayden McDonald (if Bears don't pick him).

With the looming extension of Gonzalez, Maye and possibly AJ Brown 👀, don't think Barmore nor Onwenu get resigned. Also Vrabel/new staff has been releasing players from previous regime. And Barmore was nothing special when MW was out due to injury.

Maybe Pats plan to solidify the run Defense and bring more meat to the DL in a big DT with the 1st pick then get two speedy edges in later rounds.
