The problem with the American left in general is how they seem to protest literally anyone except Donald Trump. We saw this in the last election cycle, and it’s fascinating to me. Instead of wasting your time protesting Mamdani, why not the actual fascist in power?

Messi was my childhood hero. I experienced my first real heart break as a kid, watching him lose every final. But after a 15 year wait, my dream came true on a freezing Montreal morning in 2022. I still remember just collapsing into a random person’s arms. The sheer relief we all felt was tangible.

He was 30 years old when he dragged Argentina to the WC in 2018 when they were on the brink of not making it. The journey to that first trophy in 2021 after losing 3 finals in a row. The years of agony, then catharsis. I have a hard time believing any other player’s career will be this beautiful

The French Supreme Court confirmed on Wednesday the decision to send Paris Saint-Germain defender Ashraf Hakimi to trial on charges of rape. The player, who has denied the allegations since 2023, no longer has the option to appeal the ruling that referred the case to court. The highest judicial authority in France dismissed the appeal filed by the Moroccan footballer’s lawyers against the Versailles Court of Appeal’s decision dated June 19. Hakimi is now required to face a jury trial. According to the investigation, Hakimi and the complainant met through social media and exchanged messages for several months.
