Wonder if today's industries of anti-aging and artificial intelligence are mutually constituted, since they both seem to privilege hallucinations over markings of temporality. How entangled is aversion to getting old with resistance to knowledge that requires time (some aging) to be processed?

It (nearly) lives! Forthcoming from OUP in November or December! My first reaction, for once, was glee — though the terror of writing a book is that it’s never finished. Eek! Woohoo! Wild to have proofs in hand!!!!

Whatever one's shortcomings or mistakes are, nobody should have suffered such lack of compassion, and denial of grace and dignity. It's hard not to feel we all have failed here.
