Exactly. With student attendance not being an issue at Acrisure, this would effectively be net negative on attendance by losing out on non student numbers.
On campus stadium woul make it easier for students to attend the games but certainly not for general fans.
I'm not talking about atmosphere which obviously would be better with the smaller more intimate stadium, but the logistics of getting to the game would be far far worse for general admission

@arimeyerpgh.bsky.social wrote a great article here and I whole heartly agree with him. Being a recent grad, I can tell you it would be an absolute nightmare to get into Oakland if there was a stadium there.

I know as journalists, removing bias is paramount. That being said, I can't help but hurt for Zack Austin. His college career ending on what has been described as a ghost/phantom/no foul is terrible.
