I was originally going to buy a JP model 2 but the drive didn't even bother spinning up in the menu :( I dont mind the us/ca region Saturn though mainly because it will probably see a lot of sunlight in my room

i've been seeing stuff about a BlackBerry Bold 9900 lookalike that can run Android, aptly called the "Blackevery F9900". but... the branding kinda pisses me off, it looks offbrand in a non-favorable way rather than faithfully done. also lo-res 4:3 screen for a phone in 2026 is kinda brutal

I saw a modern X11 FVWM config that was genuinely like 95% identical to the Sharp X68K's "SX-Window" and I couldn't be more amazed
Personally, I think it's just endlessly cool that Linux can look like late 80s software, while still having modern app support

I get why operators want these LCD panels (more efficient, better profit margins, easier to find, etcetc whatever
But these are just not it, i'm sorry. 16:9 swaps on 4:3 games is just EUGHHHH. gross.
