don't know what ritual i did this morning, but i finally got my wife to go on a date with me. she's been so busy lately with her cases, so i never really had the heart to ask when i knew she already had a lot on her plate. tuesday is a happy beatrice day! 彼女は今日も私を甘やかしてくれた。

i draw and paint whenever i need comfort. this week's been heavy, so my first instinct was to pick up a pencil and sketch. my wife's my biggest source of comfort too, so she was the first person i wanted to put on the paper. she'll always be my favorite muse. 私の心は彼女を慕っている。

i took my wife out for dinner tonight because we were both craving hot pho, and it’s been a while since we last had it. the restaurant owner was kind enough to give us a discount, but honestly, seeing the smile on my wife’s face felt more rewarding.
