A rare bird, a Swallow-tailed Kite, was spotted last week in the county. The photos I had taken were on a cloudy day, so when the skies turned blue, I made several other attempts on seeing the bird, striking out until yesterday. I did get to catch the bird's beautiful ruby eyes.

Weekend: Went to Picnic Point; changed the monthly calendar (finally) to September; checked every individual plant.
