Oh god…. Michael Carrick now getting interviewed during halftime. The interviewer ends the interview by saying “I’ll let you get on with your job”. Undoubtedly the irony was lost on the interviewer!

Just seen a half time Sky interview with Guehi during the Manc derby. What a waste of time. I would want all my players in the dressing room getting instructions and concentrating on the 2nd half. All players should just say “yeh, concentrating on 2nd half” and eventually bin this.

Early indications are that in some of our problem positions/areas in the team, there no automatic starters and the coach is sending out the message that whoever performs starts. That stance from the Iraola is really encouraging #LFC

Iraola needs our backing and full support as he has a big job trying to navigate the season. I think he has been let down and we need to give him time and support to stay in contention and keep us in the top four.

Arsenal have squad depth and team balance. The quality of some of our players is undeniable, but the mix is not right and we are having to continually compromise on the pitch. All this ultimately falls at the feet of Hughes and Edwards, who appointed him. I will have alot of sympathy for Iraola….

Simply adding a well known player or a body into the squad is not the be all and end all of the discussion. We have to consider player attributes and how they compare and complement each other
on the pitch. Arsenal are not too far away from us they have only two things that in their squad we lack….

Far too much of the discussion on our squad building, has been centred on replacing areas of the team where we have lost Title winners, names are being produced (Wirtz and Isak) that have played well in another teams shirt but have yet to show the heights of Title winning players worth less…..

I always like to think positive about LFC but it’s very difficult to be optimistic looking at the transfer dealings. Letting players leave on a free or getting nominal fees for them ultimately means you end up not having the money to rebuild adequately. #LFC

It’s great to see Jurgen Klopp back into management. I can’t help but put a Liverpool spin on things, as it will be good to see him help and contribute to the development of Florian Wirtz. Klopp’s trips to Anfield will also be a welcome sight. #LFC sign more Germans lol.
