He’s a retired FBI agent so he also enjoyed the framing

Only a couple decorations this year because the almost 2 year old thinks anything and everything is a ball that can be launched, but it’s also the first one where he has an idea of Santa and presents. Had so much fun setting it all up

@edsbs.bsky.social you very well may have read them during your journey through the space program but if not Gene Kranz’s memoir (Failure is not an Option) and the Apollo 13 book are both great. Apollo 13 does a fantastic job convincing you they’re going to die up there even when knowing the ending
