It's stupid because I'm a salaried employee of over 8 years. AND during winter they expect us to bring laptops home(I'm a data analyst) in case the weather is bad. So their policy is just wfh when it benefits them I guess lol

Last year I got sick at work on a Monday, took a sick day Tuesday and decided to WFH on Wednesday. And I got a talking to the next day because I "didn't ask" and just logged in to start working 🙃
