Oh another good source the find old text/books (I use it alot of old poetry collections) is www.gutenberg.org

Oh totally, historical stuff can be difficult and nuanced. Archive.org will have alot of old text but especially for antebellum stuff you'll probably want modern text or modern interpretation to ensure you have the whole picture.

I google alot, I think searching antebellum etiquette and stuff will yield alot of results, I watched documentaries on YouTube or PBS and also used Archive.org to check out books from the specific eras!

Yessss, visually it's very sterile and corporate. And I'm not the biggest fan of the way the episodes are arranged even if you can sort it by old/new. But otherwise, it's fiiine
