Pokémon
Castlevania (both games & netflix series)
Various anime and manga depending on what I'm currently fixating on
The band Ghost
Post punk music
Other random nintendo games, especially from the gba & ds era

Last Johto medal: obtained ✅ (and without as much struggle as I thought)
I can't believe we're already halfway through the game and almost at the end of the main story 💔
Btw I feel sorry for Clair, she's my favorite gym leader and the sage was awful with her lmaooo

I love the Ice Path and its ost is my favorite in the entire game, which is weird bc I usually can't stand cave areas, but this feels just magical. Back when I was a kid I used to think that Eevee would evolve into Glaceon if leveled up here. Long story short, I ended up with an Espeon :,)

We successfully banished team rocket from the radio tower 🥳 then we rested a bit before heading towards Blackthorn city and did some other side quests. We are now the new safari zone owners and we also won the first place in the bug catching contest with a raging Beedrill. All good 🤠

Right in the middle of our mission to defeat team rocket, Budino got all cuddly and decided he simply had enough. My other mons were all nervous asf but he was just vibing 🧖

Useless fact of the day: I find the message appearing after you've watered your berries so damn cute. Maybe bc I grew up playing the italian version and this is something that got lost in translation, bc I remember it saying smth like "it's absorbing all the water". Like, no wholesome at all

Wandered here and there, reached the newly open safari zone and placed second at the bug catching contest in the National Park. Life is beautiful when you don't have a little bitch in your ear telling you that your team would suck at competitive

I unintentionally overleveled my team a bit too much and as a result we won against Pryce with no effort. Anyway now one of my least favorite parts of the game begins, that is, beating team rocket in the radio tower in Goldenrod. I think I'll slow down the pace of this run for a while...

Btw one day I just might make a thread with my headcanons for the main mons in my soulsilver run, hopefully when the team doesn't count only Blossom, Nerva and Budino

Today nothing special happened except for the fact that team rocket charged me 1000₽ to get to Lake of Rage and Nerva was mad as hell for that

I have BIG news for the Quagsire nation: I finally came up with a name for the big boy 🗣️ and now his name is BUDINO 🗣️🗣️🗣️ which is the italian for pudding as he's my jello king. So to celebrate properly we did some archeology stuff in the ruins of alph 🤠

I kinda like Jasmine as a gym leader (I appreciate the hint that she changed type specialization with the introduction of steel type in gen 2) but the battle against her was the easiest one by far. Like I didn't even have to try ☠️ and my mons were a bit underleveled too, but hey, skill issue (hers)

Anyway sooo, I've been really busy with life in the past few days but today I finally got some time to properly play and so many things happened 🗣️🗣️ I'll make a short thread with the main updates under this post :>

Today I didn't play much and apart from exploring Ecruteak city nothing really meaningful happened. I still have to beat the gym. I got Bill's eevee but I stored it in the pc since it's a mon I tend to overuse in my runs. I also caught a vulpix but idk if it will stay in the team for long...

Did some side quests and in the meantime Nerva evolved 🥰 I think it's time to add a new entry to the team, possibly a fire type. I also realized I'm not familiar with some interactions with the mons, maybe bc it's my first time playing the game in english and the translations are slightly different

There's something so soothing about walking with your pokémon in this game and seeing their silly little sprite interact with you in so many silly peculiar ways. I legit use the bike only if the first one in charge has got some status conditions so that they don't have to walk and can rest a bit 🥺
