you know, sometimes I'm like... maybe no-one will mourn me, but at least my legacy won't be so many lives wasted in the kind of cruel, hateful, violent ideology right wing ""political"" ""debaters"" sell. I'd rather be a net neutral than a net negative.

rather than teach kids that the information superhighway in dangerous and ways to navigate it safely or stay off it, some people have decided to let them play on the road and ban the cars instead.

my dad's car has this built in system for like, GPS and all that, and every time it starts the Computerised Voice says "starting normal recording"
and all I can think is "this implies there is Abnormal recording", which always feels like the start of a horror game lmao

me over here like... if I cut it down to things I actively read and care/d about, I get to like 11. xxxholic, natsume yuujinchou, black butler, gosick, your lie in april, march comes in like a lion, Erased, promised neverland, JJK, In/Spectre, Apothecary Diaries, FMA.
Of course it's an incomplete list & missing most of the things I've watched or do watch, esp a lot of things pre-2006 but it is funny to see where my life picked up and anime viewing plummeted (also, I just genuinely have not been interested at all in the vast majority of most popular shows)

I won a tiny online contest, which is as much as surprise to me as it probably is to everyone else- mostly did it to have a quick and relatively simple project with a solid end goal, and also because colouring in is the fun part for me

what I actually planned to do did not work out this week so it was fun with Sketchy Watercolour Landscapes week and trying to get colours right. got my metallic golds in the one on the left again, though it doesn't show well in the upload, lmao

Haven't been doing much art because mental health has been on top of me, but I did finally get around to doing this one and quite like it. weird mix of acrylic and watercolour, but it was fun
