We learned today that we’re in our final stretch of days with Alice, 15. She’s in kidney failure. It’s not even the diabetes, it’s age. Our aim is to make her as comfortable as we can through the weekend and then see where she’s at next week. No heroic measures, of which there are none. Gutted. 💔😢
