Game 8, Astros 4-11 A’s. Definitely not one to remember.

(*Includes my POTG from ALL Astros games this year, including losses.)

(**I realise the rather obvious flaw in this is that Josh Hader was brilliant almost every single time out, but technically didn’t ever get my POTG(!).)

Good idea! I may look into doing that after the postseason has completely finished for everyone.

After a few bits & pieces over the next couple of days I’m looking forward to throughly resting up!

Make sure you all stay safe if I don’t speak to you before next year & we do it all again. 🤘

I’m not going anywhere, but next season - whenever that may be - I will definitely need to do the whole ‘work smarter, not harder’ thing to streamline & improve what content I put out without destroying myself in the process(!).

It would be remiss of me not to thank everyone again who sent their best wishes back in August as well.

I think this may have been the most brutal season ever, for me personally, in terms of the sheer volume of sleep deprivation.

I pour my entire heart & soul into running this to support the Astros, day in, day out at all hours in an effort to help connect & grow our Astros fanbase across the world. It’s always an honour & a privilege that I will never forget.

I sincerely hope you have enjoyed following along with the live-tweet play-by-plays, next day recaps & all the rest from this year.

A new GM, a new manager, the trading of a couple of players fans would prefer not to see go & the reconstruction of swathes of our roster, notably the OF.

Will lessons be learnt at the highest level of the club over the numerous mistakes made over the last 3 years? One can only hope. #Astros

Hopefully some genuine soul-searching & the desire to undergo real change & embarkn on an intelligent rebuild with some difficult decisions made that will serve us in good stead in the long run.

Taking the AL West division title was a crumb of comfort, but the brutal reality is that it was the worst division numerically of all time, with all its teams devoid of any kind of quality.

What does the future hold for the Astros?

The series record of teams losing Game 1 in the WC round to date is 1-15, our season hangs by a thread as we go again tomorrow in an elimination game. #Astros
