From earlier in Summer, London (prior to my departure) : Tate Modern. Tracey Emin. With Pete Brooks — theatre director, dramaturg, my course director at UAL. He told me stories of her I didn’t know. We walked and guessed at her influences. The last room held me. Deeply moving.

Sadness here. Fires destroying areas of Southern Greece. A friend may have lost her home. The destruction is enormous. The fires continue, and the winds are strong.
