the big push with agentic AI has been largely about how can it do something for me, less about how it can better connect me to others.

Proud to share a project I've been working on for a couple years with a team at Emory. We’re reissuing a civil rights radio documentary series from the 1990s, and here is the first episode. The series covers strategies of political and economic resistance that feel particularly resonant right now.
Trouble the Land: Prelude to the Atlanta Movement
“Prelude to the Atlanta Movement” traces the beginnings of the civil rights movement in Atlanta, Georgia, through the voices of participants. With an emphasis on the 1940s and 1950s, topics covered in...

I seem to have great timing to dip into old technology that is giving way to the next thing and then get into the next thing. 16mm film cutting and splicing into miniDV capture and editing. linear tape a/b roll into nonlinear video editing. traditional photogrammetry into PortalCam.

The 80-year recipe stoking America’s Prosperity:

1) Free-market capital investments in brilliant ideas…

I’m running to be the next Governor of Georgia.

As a former teacher, small business owner, dad, and state senator, I’ve seen Georgia’s potential because I’ve lived it. Georgia families are just looking for a fair shot.

I’m Jason Esteves, and I know that together we can build a better Georgia.

It's getting a lot of attn today. But even before today most of the country had very little idea of what has happened at NIH or through it the entire ecosystem of biomedical research in the US. Simply put, Musk, Kennedy & Trump exploded a bomb right in the middle of cancer cure research in the US.

photogrammetry with a rig of cameras is such a fun and interesting game trying to maximize quality, overlap and parallax. this was a good scan today, but I definitely remember looking at cam4 and thinking there wasn’t enough overlap with cam3.

Over the course of your life you identify the people who you can reach out to with some crazy idea and they’ll say sure I’ll take a crack at that with you. I love those people.
