Bonus: this weird little alien model kit I found in the trash outside the con that appears to have come from one of those giant blind boxes of assorted cheap crap. I saved it to paint and put in a corner of my record shop diorama as a guitar holder.

I have in fact failed to not buy things. Picked up Skybound TPBs, a couple of other TF comics, some other stuff, prints and a Jazz keychain from Dan Khanna, and prints from George Vega. (sidenote, plz tell Dan you would also buy the Prowl keychain he's thinking of making, bc I NEED that to happen.)

Found some rando on etsy selling printed copies of other people's Transformers figure models, almost certainly without their permission. :/ This is why we can't have nice things.

Got my Jazz and Prowl done only to discover that they came out too tall for the room size because I totally effed up my scaling. Just gonna stick these guys on my shelf and print another set that is actually correctly scaled. One can never have too many of their favourite little robot guys, right?

Finally finished all of these damn record sleeves. Printing them on paper and then having to cut them out, glue them on cardstock, cut them out AGAIN, and finally fold and glue them together to finish them was perhaps not the most efficient use of my time, but it's done now, so.

Somehow this whole silly record shop diorama idea and printing a bunch of things for it has now led to me planning to also print two entire figures to live in it, because why the hell not, at this point?

I may be getting a little too into this record shop diorama thing. I'm currently downloading about three hundred pieces of album art for record sleeves and also making up a couple of fake albums for Cybertronian bands just so the collection is not completely human-centric.

I just found the perfect printable modular tile set to expand the record store diorama for free, which is great news for my ideas for it and absolutely terrible news for my remaining collecting space.

New bot for the TFA collection! I found a damaged Prowl on ebay and rescued him to make a Barricade. Poor guy was missing his head and lights and was also lightly mauled (with visible tooth marks) but some paint, a new head, and the leftover Bionicle pieces from my Chase fixed his problems right up.

Re: silly photos of bots, I had to dig these two up because I remembered that a couple years ago I was taking pics of my RTS Jazz with a skateboard and nunchaku (aka the OMEGA JAZZ), which led to the funniest accidental photo I've ever managed when I somehow caught him mid-backflip as he fell off.

I sincerely hope whichever clown stole the G1 Shrapnel I ordered off my steps was severely disappointed. I'm not even really mad, just amused that of all the shit I've ordered over the years, a 40 year old robot bug that cost me eight bucks is what finally got stolen.

I love modern technology. One (almost) perfect replacement door. (My clumsy ass snapped a bit off the clip as i was pulling it off the supports so now I need to print it again, but this one works to show how well it fits.) Windshield is printing now, so he'll just need some paint to be good as new.

So I didn't end up with most of what was on my list but I am very pleased with what I DID find: Rumble/Frenzy and Eject/Rewind, Powerglide, Whirl, Bluestreak, Bombshell, Battle Armor Skeletor & He-man, Rattlor, Panthor, Battlecat, and the Action Edition Blokees kits. Not a bad haul, I think.

At the toys expo and, uh. I bought a few things. The Panthor and Battlecat are modern ones but I thight they were cool and they were right there in the booth with He-Man and Skeletor so I grabbed them all together.

I'm going to a toy expo tomorrow, so I'm making a list of stuff I want to look for, and it's almost all either Transformers or stuff I owned between about 7 and 12 that I really want to have again. We shall see how well I manage to stick to the list and not just go OOH SHINY at other random things.
