these past few days, i have been regularly humbled to tears by the outpouring of support i have received, including from a number of those i am in community with through this site. their/your kindness and concern has meant more to me than i can say.

i am in relatively high spirits all things considered, and am incredibly lucky to have a partner, family, friends and a community of people supporting me at this time.

the infection and inflammation is currently being treated with extensive medications, but i have been unfortunately left with nerve damage causing partial facial paralysis.

i ended up in the ER exhibiting an unusual combination of infection and stroke symptoms that took a few days to diagnose. good news, i did not have a stroke.
