@joepatrice.bsky.social I don’t read ATL as much as I should, but had to tell you that when someone sent me this article, I remebered why i ought to. Really funny, witty writing. 👌 abovethelaw.com/2026/07/bigl...

MAMDANI: Let them. We don't have to ask ourselves what life looks like if a socialist wins. I won last year & over the course of the last 6 months what we've delivered for working people are the very things we were told were impossible.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress beforehand, or our allies, or coherently explain to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop this.

I literally *cannot* fathom how unbelievably dumb you have to be to support Trump. I *can* imagine how rich you’d have to be, that’s easy. But just being a regular person without millions in net worth… my GOD the just teeny tiny IQ you must have.

Every Democratic member of Congress should be on a plane to Minneapolis right now to join the people protesting in the streets. Federal elected officials should physically place themselves between the public and these dangerous thugs sent to terrorize this American city.

The cultural/political backlash to anti-woke nonsense led to a November 4 wipeout for MAGA school board officials running for re-election.

Hopefully a lesson was learned. I guess we'll see.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.
