I finished this refurb of yesterday by fitting the glass.
As you can see it was quite the upgrade. Cladding the strings in oak and removing the old under stairs storage and replacing it with push to open drawers really bought this staircase back from the brink.

We fitted a staircase to a basement today. This had no nosing on so someone else can come along and clad the staircase.
The back wall was 30mm out of square over 1600mm!

Here’s a recent staircase refurbished and and understairs unit fitted. Very nice push to open drawers on hefele under mounted runners

This full oak staircase was designed and installed by our team, featuring square spindles, chunky newel posts, and a bullnose bottom step. Paired with that herringbone oak flooring, the whole hallway just comes together.

A nice and simple pine staircase replacement. It might look a bit steep, but that's because it is! We were replacing the original, which had taken a real beating over the years.
This one will most likely outlive the owners, just like the original did.

New loft access in a 1600s listed home, built with reclaimed ship timber. Headroom was tight and the newer loft sat 500 mm higher. I dropped a 120 degree winder stair in the centre of the roof for safe, comfortable access that respects the building.

Modern staircase update with oak and glass
This staircase was updated without replacing the full structure. We added new oak caps, fitted an oak handrail and pine baserail, repainted the original posts, and finished the job with 10mm toughened glass. The result is a cleaner and more current look that suits the home.

I've been double checking my math this morning.
I've been told my staircase design is impossible to fit in a space.
So I've been checking all my headroom's and it seems to work, headroom's are tight but they it fits.
Now to shake this imposter syndrome.
