Even if we were to suppose an all-powerful and omni-benevolent deity exists, wouldn't it see that so much of the world's division throughout history has been for differing beliefs in such an aspect? The fact that it doesn't show itself makes for logical conclusion that such a being isn't reality.
The devoutly religious will proclaim itself as the answer, then go as far as to say that science fears doubt when science is in fact fueled by such.
