I drive an EV. A contractor working on my house mentioned $8 diesel a couple of times. I thought he was exaggerating. I rented a car this week and had to refuel at Costco. Diesel is $8. Crazy.

After visiting Graceland it’s clear that other than his taste in Black music, the Elvis persona was driven entirely by money, not taste or style. I’m not the demographic for the Graceland tour (I’m 20 years too young) and the whole operation has zero emotional resonance and the exhibits are vapid.
