Until we learn as a people that we should exclude the opinions of bitter, angry people who are more invested in burning things down than building better, im not sure we can progress any further. This is even nonpartisan to some degree, the left and its components wrestle with this too.

The book "The Grieving Body" explores how grief affects the body, from the heart to the immune system.

Author Dr. Mary-Frances O'Connor joins us to discuss what she has learned about the physiology of grief over the years.

Severance is just an okay show and I don’t know think it deserves the praise that it’s getting.

In the words of Danny Devito, it INSISTS upon itself.

I’m tired of my fellow American leftists shitting on themselves like we’re the ones solely responsible for this administration.

Self deprecation has never helped anyone. Focus your disdain on the politicians and shareholders that deserve it, not yourself.

I don’t care about music awards except when a certain someone finally gets the appreciation she’s deserved her entire career— absolutely none.

Gotta love silver linings.

Today I’m grateful, as a Julie Andrews stan, that The Sound of Music is trending and getting recognition.

Julie Andrews herself is an incredible activist. I highly recommend looking into her accomplishments that extend beyond her career as an actress and musician.

Fuck I wish we were crop dusting my fellow Americans with mood stabilizers
"Naomi Wolf couldn't sound any stupider."

Never, never take that bet.

You totally shouldn’t ask your prescriber for a higher dose than you need and save the extra.

That would be unethical, just like our healthcare system.
“Make sure you have an extra month of your medication to be prepared for disasters!”

Except in the US…

1. Insurance companies often won’t cover it.

2. If your prescription is a “controlled substance” like so many #narcolepsy meds are, you quite literally can’t.

I raise you a diner in Portland Oregon playing Landslide by Fleetwood Mac the day after the election…

I didn’t need my brunch seasoned with BOTH of our tears.
It is December 27th

I have paid my dues

So why is it this bar is playing "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time?"

Fuck off back to the hell pit from whence you came, foul ear demon

I was granted disability in 2021 due to anorexia and ptsd.

Ironically, eating disorder programs in my state, do not accept Medicare.
Here's my fucked up American healthcare insurance story.

I was getting clean off junk and they wouldn't cover the suboxone prescribed by my recovery doc so I had to buy it off my old dealer

I wish companies would quit putting ashwagandha and 5htp into natural energy and adaptogen drinks/tinctures.

Too many people are on medications that interact poorly and it’s not like our healthcare system actually educates people on these substances.
