This open letter is a damning indictment of what can happen when Reform run a council. What a despicable way to treat the elderly. Absolutely appalling. www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

Loving the #winterolympics for so many reasons. One of which is that the women can wear adequate clothing rather than being expected to compete in their undies.

"For about an hour" was, in fact, for seven-and-a-half minutes each, with the UK PM getting the last word, then leading a Q&A session with media. But this is such an excellent example of the mendacious, awful, biased reporting that has been the hallmark of the entire Brexit debate for a decade. ~AA

Coverage of idiots claiming ‘betrayal’ or ‘surrender’ isn’t just bad journalism, it’s a dereliction of our duty to explain things. I’d actually forgotten just how bad it got but here we are, straight back to treating liars & spivs like authorities of equal weight to experts & honest brokers.

People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative.

A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.
