We work in the golden age for biomethane - NetZero, bio-CO2 to CCS, Reverse Compression and Bio-CNG trucks
With Reform’s $97 million making the case for continuing development of fossil fuels but Lab/Libs/Greens opposed, we need a party that says we can walk & chew gum

And look at the whole system, using our own production to fund EVs and heat pumps and Biomethane at a pace the market can deliver

UK gas production is a great way to help the fuel poor

You cannot do this with shale LNG as tax on that goes to US Govt and not to fuel poor people in UK

Much lower GHG as well - everyone’s a winner apart from the US Government
Jackdaw gas would be trading at around £2/therm today. UK production is taxed at 78%. Simple idea: let a slice of it go to households in fuel poverty at 50p/therm, tax-free. The producer keeps… | Jo...

I find 'economical with truth' articles from each side of the energy culture wars a bit tedious

One side loves high gas prices, the other dines out on a solar eclipse

Never burn biogas and wood to generate electricity are good targets to have going forward as we don’t need base load electricity and we also don’t want to contaminate the exhaust CO2 with nitrogen from air

So, make Biomethane and store it for the windless day
