FINAL

✅ That's Scorigami!! It's the 1096th unique final score in NFL history.

Just finished Pragmata (2026). Very fun. The juggling act of combat with hacking, and the ways the two systems interacted, felt great. Steadily introduced variety throughout, and felt like there was a real purpose for having the two buddy protagonists. The story is standard but told well. Take this!

Just finished Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster (2024). Short but sweet. The sprite art looks strong, and the dynamic soundtrack fits well. The levels are mostly good, and rank among the best of that era (besides level 3). Trudging through liquids felt bad, and the mines are the bane of my existence.

Just finished Aliens: Fireteam Elite (2021). Fun when it's xenomorphs that you're fighting, which was most levels. The grind seemed slow, but the free challenge cards make up for it. Very repetitive, with every level following a similar template. Mindless shooting into hordes is hard to beat.

Just finished Tormented Souls 2 (2025). Excellent gameplay and spooky atmosphere. Combat feels more fluid and challenging with multiple foes at once and greater enemy variety. The puzzles are once again tricky but not unfair. Fewer obviously gamey scenarios. Unfortunately, it's incredibly buggy.

Just finished Reanimal (2026). Atmospheric and frictionless. NPC buddies avoiding danger helps telegraph otherwise sudden deaths. Directly fighting back felt unique for the sub genre. Vehicles were neat , but should've allowed more exploration. Fairly light on puzzles. Very spooky prey animals.

Just finished Bramble: The Mountain King (2023). Neat presentation of Nordic myths. Surprisingly bloody. Aiming felt difficult and imprecise. The perspective made some platforming bits frustrating. The looking interactions reminded me of a VR perspective. A couple too many game breaking glitches.

Just finished Wasteland 2 (2014). I feel like I could replay it and get a mostly different 50 hour playthrough based on alternative choices. Using skills felt too slow, travel times in the large environments were excessive, and combat could've been faster. A fun, silly world to explore and affect.

Just finished You Will Die Here Tonight (2023). Fun little send up of Resident Evil. Story had some nice twists, and the mansion was a good puzzle box to unravel. The permanent unlocks helped alleviate the tension of permanent deaths. Clever twist on expending resources in a "survival" horror game.
April 11, 2026 at 2:02 AM
Just finished Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise (2018). Fun game and lots of charming moments, but less focused than Yakuza proper. Felt more grindy than normal, even in the main story line. Noticing returning voice actors was always a nice surprise, as well as not talking to thugs post combat.

Just finished Wasteland Remastered (2020). Pretty fun! Combat was significantly more forgiving than I expected from a game with permanent deaths. Grinding was unnecessary, and the many knowledge gates help direct the plot and allow veterans to skip around. The paragraph system was ingenious.

Just finished Resident Evil 5 (2009). Fun with a friend, gets worse as the game goes on. The real time menus are great; fast and intuitive. The cooperative gameplay is great, and there are some fun set pieces. The cover shooting has no redeeming qualities. Sheva is cool, Wesker is lame. Partners!
March 17, 2026 at 2:47 AM
Just finished Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (2006). Impressive port. The remixed item and enemy layouts complimented the gimmicky mini games. The new logic puzzles were a good fit for the first game. The first person knifing was neat, but a bit much towards the end. Way too many little spiders.

Just finished Dead Reset (2025). Satisfying production design and good acting, and the twist early on naturally encourages replays in a meta way. Could have used a bit more variety for different outcomes, but the all FMV presentation would have made that too difficult, more likely. A Visual... Film?

Just finished Resident Evil 4 (2005). A masterpiece. Not surprising how influential the combat was to shooters, it feels great here. The in game store encourages engaging with every enemy, but there are still a few surprises to maintain the horror atmosphere. Weapon upgrades keep them all relevant.
February 16, 2026 at 1:11 AM
Just finished Resident Evil Outbreak: File #2 (2005). A shame the online mode is (officially) long defunct. The characters have even more to distinguish themselves, and the scenarios felt more varied than the first title. The AIPC's were the bane of my existence, and playing solo felt more grueling.

Just finished Resident Evil Outbreak (2004). Pretty tricky, especially solo. The very limited inventory helps emphasize the survival elements, and each character having their own unique role helped them stand out. Felt like a greatest hits pastiche of series elements. The AIPC's were way too chatty.
January 22, 2026 at 3:25 AM
Just finished Resident Evil Dead Aim (2003). Short mindless fun. A big step up from Survivor. Fast character movement meant dodging zombies was usually viable, even though I usually had ample ammo. The environments were incredibly grey. Was not expecting the tyrant to rock those high heels.

Amazing win for Chicago. Caleb is the truth.

Packers coaches gonna get a lot of smoke next week for this one…

Just finished Resident Evil 0 (2002). Fun enough puzzles and combat, but most of the locations feel dull. The inventory system is an anchor that drags the game down more and more as you progress, and doesn't improve much upon replay. I wish there were more reason to play as Rebecca. The train rules.
January 10, 2026 at 8:01 PM
Just finished Dex (2015). Some frustration, but a fun little world to mess around in. Platforming was stiff, and the melee combat evolves very little, but each quest feels unique, and I appreciated the different outcomes you could see. Twin stick hacking is a fun twist, but the sounds got old fast.

Just finished Resident Evil (2002). A masterpiece. The resource balancing feels so carefully calculated to keep you with just enough, but barely. The mansion is a puzzle box to slowly unravel, and the crimson heads are such a genius enemy that only work because of the backtracking and combat. Great.

Just finished Resident Evil: Gaiden (2001). Some detailed visuals, and a creative adaptation of combat, but otherwise pretty bad. Frustrating ammo gating that forces backtracking, and the soundtrack goofs up when avoiding fights. Some enemies carrying keys or useful items made it a slog.
December 23, 2025 at 3:21 AM
Just finished Resident Evil - Code: Veronica (2000). Very frustrating combat at times, and the HD version is way too dark. Still, an entry that takes some swings and tries to be unique, and is much smoother the second time around. I liked all the one off guns with tons of ammo. Truly awful bosses.
