This is not good. Democrats need to be up by at least 5 points to have a serious chance in the general election. We've seen this too many times before. Hope is a luxury progressives cannot afford.

IANAL, but I would think that this would call into question his convictions as prosecutor, and those cases should be reviewed. If he is found to be incompetent, he should be disbarred.

tl:dr: Hilton will gut the system. Becerra will try to fix the existing system but will stop short of real reform because he isn't a visionary and is in the pocket of the health insurance industry.
