I wonder if Trump realizes that the stock market is way up this morning, NOT because they approve of his policies, but rather are happy because he’s reversed his policies.

They like him when he’s not involved

Did anyone else see this yesterday?

I noticed a good number of young adults and even children at the two No Kings protests that I had not noticed prior.

I loved seeing this. We need the young to steer the direction of our country, it’s their future after all.

The lawsuits now as to where the tariff money the government collected is going to go …

Does it go to companies that paid more, importers that absorbed some of it, or you and I - that paid 95% of it.

What a mess

Now we get to watch all the companies scramble trying to figure out how to justify not lowering their prices …

US GDP numbers out this morning …

“the US economy grew 2.2%, a modest slowdown from the 2.8% growth seen in 2024”

Commerce department released trade deficit #’s

Trump was spouting yesterday that it would be the first surplus ever … it wasn’t even close and worse than the month prior.

And for all of 2025,m, annually, it was the same deficit as Biden’s “horrible” 2024

Tariffs don’t work!

The real risk isn’t AI — it’s the mismatch between user perception and system design.

A conversational interface feels confidential. Platform architecture and data policy may say otherwise.

When UX signals privacy but governance doesn’t guarantee it, exposure becomes predictable.

A utility’s governance gap didn’t emerge overnight — internal audit and oversight mechanisms matter long before headlines hit.

Invisible weaknesses in governance structures are predictable points of stress in every system.
South East Water still has ‘troubling’ governance gap, warn auditors
UK utility that left 30,000 households without water has no internal audit function

Global risk is now an enterprise risk — and IT leaders are feeling it first.
From AI governance gaps to infrastructure fragility, resilience must replace efficiency as the default design principle.

Systems don’t fail from a single event — they break where silos hide weak links. Organizational boundaries without shared oversight are a root driver of cascading risk.

Operational resilience begins with integrated risk visibility.

Compound Risks Don’t Break Systems. Silos Do
Manage AI and compound risks by breaking organizational silos and prioritizing human-centered systemic synergy, writes Enrique González.

The stock market looks really weak. All time high today on the Nasdaq, but most stocks aren’t going up.

We could still be a few weeks out, but I don’t see how we are going to avoid a drop from here.

Does anyone know how someone can get involved in each particular state to help (resist) with the ice raids or to help on the legal side after someone has been detained.

Are there organized volunteer opportunities to help?
