Yeah I’ll just use this as a chance to repeat that the Catholic dogma, even in the use of the term, is not an affirmation of the metaphysical structure.
Like I don’t articulate my beliefs about the Eucharist in terms of Transubstantiation because those aren’t my metaphysics.

Quidquid recipitur ad modum recipientis recipitur
Genuinely people think that being traditional is just failing to ever modify the common sense positions one has received from others. I happen to think tradition is not like taking a look. A Thomist defense of contextual theology’s validity does not simply take a look.
